Outdoor Nets 2020
The ECB guidelines now allow us to train in groups of 6, it is possible for two or more groups of 6 to train at the same time provided they are kept separate. Senior training will run from 6pm on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
The club feels, after consultation, that we can safely train with a maximum of 3 x groups of 6. We will be using the bottom net, the mobile net on one of the three grass practice pitches (as long as ground conditions allow) and a fielding practice area. We can also set up the bowling machine on the artificial pitch on the square. Please note that the club house and changing rooms will not be opened and the toilet facilities will not be available. It is simply not feasible for us to be able to clean and sanitise the changing rooms and toilet facilities after every session.
It is very important to note that if you have not paid your membership fees or set up a standing order to pay your membership fees then you are not covered by the clubs insurance. If you are in this group please contact Philip Hulme on 07949 154277.
Players need to have read and understand the ECB guidelines. If you have any questions again please contact Philip Hulme. You will need to bring your own ball to the training sessions and not share it with anyone else. Please also only use your own equipment. When moving, positioning and operating the bowling machine protective gloves must be worn, likewise when moving and positioning the mobile net. The club will provide gloves.
Finally you will see in the guidelines that a
booking system is to be used by clubs. Historically, we do not get more than 18 people attending outdoor senior training. That said please can you indicate on the players group message if you will be attending. We can then assess the numbers and react / plan accordingly.
