About Carlton Cricket Club

Carlton Cricket Club was founded in 1867 in the village of Carlton near Wakefield in the heart of the Rhubarb Triangle.

Our Teams

We have two senior teams who compete in the newly formed Bradford League. Our Junior Section is currently an U11 and U13 team, playing in the Leeds & District Junior Cricket League. We are also delighted to have formed links with the Heavy Woollen Junior League, the Leeds & District Junior League and the Yorkshire Schools Cricket Association - many of whom can be found using the ground during the season for their many representative matches.  Teams who regularly play at Carlton at U10 through to U13'.  We look forward to seeing them again at Carlton this year.

Our Volunteers

Our club is run by volunteers and as with many clubs we are always on the look out for new support/help. During this season we are particularly looking for people to fill the following positions which will be vacant as at the end of the season: Club Secretary, Junior Secretary, tea-ladies for all senior matches and general scoring/IT support on match days.
