Fundraising with COOP
Donate to Carlton Cricket Club while shopping at your local Co-op.
When you shop at the Co-op you could be helping the club raise money! The club has been chosen by members of the supermarket as one of its local good causes which will hopefully help us to raise funds for essential sports equipment.
Mick Carr, Manager of the Co-op in Outwood said: “As well as bagging your weekly shop at your local Co-op our scheme helps you support local good causes. It is only £1 and has always ever been £1 to be a member of the Co-op - so everyone can do it and help make a difference.”
Tom Taylor, first team captain at Carlton Cricket Club said: “We are delighted that the Co-op members have chosen to support us as part of their scheme. We are a well established local club which has thrived and survived of the back of junior players coming through the ranks to eventually play senior cricket over the years. With the support of local firms like the Co-op we can help provide the best facilities and equipment to help the kids enjoy themselves and reach their potential in a safe environment"
It’s really easy to get involved. Just visit www.coop.co.uk/membership to sign up as a member then select your local cause. Every time you spend at the Co-op the good cause of your choice gets 1% of the spend, and the customer gets 5% of the spend added the their card. The club will also receive 1% of all carrier bag sales.
